CALL FOR APPLICANTS for the Youth-Private Sector: Driving Collective Innovation

Connect4Climate is a World Bank Group Multi-Donor Trust Fund powered by Italy’s Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security and Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development that drives climate action through advocacy, partnerships, and creative communications.

Connect4Climate is organising a half-day event – the Global Partnerships Program of the World Bank Group – together with Politecnico di Torino and the Italian Network of Universities for Sustainable Development – RUS in the Italian acronym- and will be hosted at the Politecnico di Torino in Corso Duca degli Abruzzi 24 on 23 April 2024.

The event is part of Planet Week (April 20-28)  - a series of events aimed at engaging the civil society, the private sector, academia, think tanks, institutions, media, and young climate advocates elaborating on the Summit themes of Circular Economy, Climate Action, Renewable Energy, and Water- that precede the G7 Climate, Energy, and Environment Summit 2024.

The Youth-Private Sector: Driving Collective Innovation event aims to connect young climate champions with industry experts, facilitate a dynamic exchange of ideas for a sustainable future, develop new solutions, and create networking opportunities. 

Important deadlines: 
·        1st April 2024 – Deadline for application
·        8th April 2024 – Confirmation of acceptance
·        9th April 2024 – Online interactive preparation workshop
